Travel By Fire Wraps up after covering 4,500 miles in 60 days

Searching for secluded campsites. Hiking to undocumented waterfalls. Grilling with local chefs. Spending nights under the stars. Faces sticky with s’more residue. Backflipping into foam pits with the Boy Scouts. Waiting for stubborn buffaloes to cross the interstate. Filling up our carbon neutral fire truck with vegetable oil. 60 days on the road flew by.

We met thousands of people along the way whose generosity, stories and enthusiasm for life outside powered us through. We could keep telling you about it, but the pictures speak much louder than our words. Here are a few of our favorite stops.

Freeport, ME // Kicking things off at L.L.Bean’s Flagship Store. Hard to believe this was 60 days ago.
Montreal, Canada // Making a bit of time to explore all that Montreal has to offer. May or may not have been allowed to park here...
Brooklyn, NY // Epic NYC homecoming with a curbside cook out at Brooklyn Boulders. Luke and Will stuck around to help the team win our intense beach volleyball match on the pier.
Harrisburg, PA // We made a point to feed all unattended children s’mores with extra chocolate.
Bechtel Summit, WV // Stopped by to teach the Boy Scouts at Mountaineer Weekend. Stayed for the skatepark and foam pit.
Floyd, VA // In between feeding Floydfest attendees after each set and dancing with the late night DJs, there wasn’t much time for sleep.
Every stop // No matter who you are (or how old you are), we invited people all over the country (and beyond) to join BioLite’s Inaugural Off Grid Weekend.
Winter Park, Colorado // Couldn’t resist snapping this pic before spending the afternoon with Hideaway Park Brewery (where the one and only BaseCamp IPA was born).
Moab, UT // Found a secret camping location to test out some BioLite prototypes.
Salt Lake City, UT // Brewing cowboy coffee for paddleboarders at Outdoor Retailer’s Open Air Demo Day.
Jackson, WY // Mandatory pitstop to bask in the view of the Grand Tetons.
En route to Yellowstone, WY // Expect delays...buffalo crossing.
Yellowstone, WY // Started the day discovering undocumented waterfalls with Yellowstone Waterfall Project. Ended the day grilling with a local chef on our BaseCamp.
Seattle, WA // Food trucks from across Seattle come together for an epic Street Food Festival that brought gourmet cooking to the outdoors.
The tour wraps up this weekend at Pacific Crest Trail Days. Stay tuned for more photos.

Baby is parked for the rest of the year but you can stay up to date on upcoming BioLite events and visits by following us on Instagram, Facebook, or Email.
